Long Island City School of Ballet was established in 2006 by Eric Ragan of The Suzanne Farrell Ballet.
Our mission is to be your home for professional dance and dance education in Queens. We have the
best children’s ballet teachers New York has to offer. Ballet is an excellent base for other forms of
dance and we want our students to learn useful skills in a fun creative environment. The Sports Dance
for Boys program introduces boys to dance in a fun and judgment free environment while building
flexibility, agility and strength. All of our adult classes are fun and great for exercise or for continuing
your professional training. Our classes range from 2 years to adult. We are the home of Ballet for Young
Audiences/Ballet Repertory of LIC which gives our students professional performance opportunities.
